Singer Park Jin Young donated 1 billion won. The places he sent the donation to also drew keen attention from netizens.
According to JYP Entertainment on December 28th, Park Jin Young donated 1 billion won to support children and adolescent patients in Korea and overseas.
In particular, he delivered 500 million won each to Samsung Medical Center and World Vision organization on December 9th.
Park Jin Young’s donation will be used to cover surgery and rehabilitation expenses for children and adolescents under 24 in Korea and treatments for overseas children suffering from rare incurable diseases.
Making a large donation, Park Jin Young expressed his feelings through JYP Entertainment, saying “I hope this donation can be helpful and encourage more people to participate in donating to support children, who will become leaders of the future.”
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment, represented and managed by Park Jin Young, is also conducting social contribution activities for pediatric patients.
