BTS’s Jungkook proved once again why fans call him a “cooking master,” unveiling a brand-new pasta recipe during his solo live broadcast on Weverse. Held on November 24, the livestream drew an astonishing 6.4 million real-time viewers, capturing global attention.
Starting his live from his home kitchen, Jungkook casually greeted fans, saying “I turned on the live because I was hungry.” The broadcast immediately became a spectacle when he spent several minutes sharpening his knife with precision a moment fans jokingly dubbed “chef-mode Jungkook.”

Jungkook began by thinly slicing 10 cloves of garlic, then separated scallion leaves and roots to use for scallion oil. He proceeded to prep large tiger prawns himself, removing the head and shell, commenting with satisfaction, “The color is so pretty.”
He infused olive oil with scallions and shrimp heads to create a deep, aromatic base. He then added garlic, peperoncino, and pepper, sautéing them before incorporating water, uni soy sauce, fresh cream, butter, and sugar to craft a rich, savory blend.
Tossing linguine into the sauce, he finished the dish with freshly grated cheese. After tasting, he nodded repeatedly, declaring, “It’s delicious. Amazing.”
Jungkook plated the dish beautifully, topping it with scallion and cheese. Admiring his own creation, he remarked, “The seasoning is perfect. You could sell this.”

He also excited fans by promising more original recipes, saying he wants to “create pasta dishes that don’t exist in the world,” hinting that his next experiment will be a doenjang curry pasta.
