On September 30 (local time), international outlet Music Mundial announced the results of its poll for “The Most Popular K-pop Artist in the U.S. in 2025,” with Jungkook taking the top spot.

Music Mundial praised the achievement, stating, “This historic victory not only highlights his incredible career but also proves, once again, the unmatched influence that Jungkook holds across borders, especially in the United States, one of the toughest music markets in the world.”

Since his solo debut, Jungkook has achieved remarkable success in the American music industry. His single Seven debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while 3D and Standing Next to You both reached the Top 5. His first solo album GOLDEN landed in the Billboard 200 Top 5, placing him alongside global pop icons such as Taylor Swift, Drake, and Adele.

Jungkook’s influence extends beyond music into fashion and lifestyle. His role as a global ambassador for Calvin Klein garnered worldwide attention, while appearances on major U.S. talk shows further boosted his recognition. Music Mundial emphasized, “Jungkook’s presence transcends music, shaping culture and trends.”

Previously, Jungkook was named the “Best K-pop Solo Artist of 2025” by Music Mundial and became the first and only Korean male singer to be included in Rolling Stone’s list of “200 Greatest Singers of All Time.”

He also made history as the first Asian artist to win “Male Artist of the Year” at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and secured three trophies at the Billboard Music Awards across two years, setting the record for the most wins by a K-pop soloist.

Jungkook has consistently dominated global rankings, topping Billboard’s “2024 K-pop Artist 100,” being chosen as “Pop Star of the Year 2023,” appearing on The Hollywood Reporter’s Platinum Players Power List, named Audacy’s “Artist of the Summer,” and recognized by Stacker as the “Representative Musician Born in 1997.”
