Jungkook denied rumors of the disbandment of BTS.
On June 15th, BTS’s Jungkook communicated with fans through a V Live broadcast. He said, “When I woke up in the morning, it was crazy. People were saying things like ‘activities suspension’ and ‘disbandment’. I thought I had to clarify this, so I turned on V Live.”
He explained, “We still have a lot to do as a group. The ‘Bangtan Dinner’ video was only a place for us to talk comfortably about our future plans. We’re going to do individual activities from now on does not mean we’re going to stop doing BTS activities.”
He continued, “Once again, we have no intention of disbanding. There is a lot to do as a group and we will continue to steadily do so in the future. You don’t have to worry about that. BTS is forever.”
Jungkook also said, “As you may feel, there will be times when each of us feels tired or stuck in the same place. Even though that time has come for us too, we’ve been dragging it out because there’s so much going on, and now is the time to talk.”
“We have to work on a lot of things while doing something individually, and we can show you a variety of new things as our new plan was created. But I want you to know that it’s not about not working as a group,” he emphasized again.
Previously, BTS announced that they would temporarily suspend group activities and focus on solo activities in the future in a video of ‘Bangtan Dinner’, which was released through the official YouTube channel ‘BANGTANTV’.
