BTS’s Jungkook and Charlie Puth make an impressive debut on Billboard charts with “Left And Right”

Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s collaboration song landed on No.22 on Billboard Hot 100.

The digital single “Left and Right”, marking the first official collaboration song between BTS’s Jungkook and Charlie Puth has debuted at No.22 on Billboard Hot 100. This achievement also marks the highest debut of a song by BTS on this weekly chart.

In addition to making it into Hot 100’s Top 22, “Left and Right” is also the best-selling song this week. On the Global Excl and Global 200 charts, “Left and Right” ranked 2nd and 5th respectively, bringing Jungkook the highest-charting solo record on both charts and highest-ranked song for a BTS member in a lead role.

The achievement on Global Excl marks the first time that Charlie Puth has entered the Top 10 of this chart. Meanwhile, this is the second record in the solo career of Jungkook. Previously, Suga earned the same record when collaborating with PSY with the song “That That”.

With 72.6 million streams worldwide, “Left and Right” peaked at No.5 on Global 200, recording the first time in the Top 10 for both Jungkook and Charlie Puth. The only other entry this high by a BTS member’s song on Global 200 is Suga and PSY‘s “That That,” which also ranked No.5 earlier this May. Shortly after its release, “Left and Right” swept iTunes charts in various countries, making its debut on several UK music charts.
