Actress Jung So-min shared her thoughts on playing a character that is the complete opposite of her personality in the movie “30 Days”

Jung So-min conducted an interview at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul on September 26th ahead of the release of the film “30 Days” (directed by Nam Dae-jung).

Jung So-min, who attended the VIP preview the day before, said, “People told me that they enjoyed the movie. They said that it’s very fun and that it’s the funniest movie they’ve seen in a while.

In the film, Jung So-min portrayed a character named Hong Na-ra, a film producer with a strong personality who always speaks her mind and is assertive.

Jung So-min confessed, “This is the first time I’ve completely focused on comedy. I’m never satisfied with my acting. I often visit the fancafe related to the movie, and I read the comments there. When I meet the team at the press conference or VIP preview, we share a lot.”

Recalling the offer to join “30 Days”, Jung So-min said, “I think it’s essential for the script to be easy to read. When I read the script for ’30 Days’, I found it enjoyable and fast-paced, and I thought, ‘I could have fun with this.’

Jung So-min admitted that her character Na-ra is quite different from her, stating, “I compared our MBTI. I think Na-ra would be ESTP. It’s the opposite of my actual MBTI. We’re quite different.”

Elaborating on the differences, she explained, “Na-ra has a fiery side. She’s fiery and quick-tempered when expressing herself. I’m not very good at that. However, it’s refreshing since it’s different from my usual self.
