Model-actress Jung Ho-yeon is starting her Hollywood career in earnest.
On March 17th (local time), the American media outlet “Variety” reported, “Jung Ho-yeon has been cast in Alfonso Cuarón’s upcoming Apple TV+ series ‘Disclaimer’.”
“Disclaimer” is a series based on Renée Knight‘s novel of the same name. It is the next film directed by Alfonso Cuarón. He directed films such as “Gravity” and “Roma“.
The response is already explosive. That’s true of course, Jung Ho-yeon will star in the series alongside Hollywood actors Cate Blanchett, Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
Variety said, “Cate Blanchett will take on the role of Catherine Ravenscroft, a successful and respected television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the concealed transgressions of long-respected institutions. Jung Ho-yeon will play Kim, Catherine Ravenscroft’s assistant.”
Meanwhile, Jung Ho-yeon attracted worldwide attention through Netflix’s series “Squid Game“. She won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG).
