Actor Jung Hae-in’s romcom wish has finally come true
According to an exclusive report on Star News on October 2nd, it is confirmed that Jung Hae-in has been cast in the new drama “Some and Shopping”.
“Some and Shopping” tells about a principal cosmetics company CEO and a top show host with high efficiency fighting hard during the day but sharing and crying for each other at night.
In the drama, Jung Hae-in will play Lee Hae-seok, CEO of a natural skincare brand that is receiving keen attention around the world. This character excels in everything, from topping the school throughout his school years, never missing the student council president position, possessing a sharp intellect, as well as a persistent and delightful personality.
This will be Jung Hae-in’s first romantic comedy after 10 years since his debut in 2013. He is known for many romance works, such as JTBC’s “Something in the Rain”, MBC’s “One Spring Night”, tvN’s “A Piece of Your Mind” and JTBC’s “Snowdrop”, but “Some and Shopping” will be his first challenge with the romcom genre. In a recent interview, the actor also shared, “I’ve never done a romcom before so I want to try it once”.
As much as he has impressed viewers with his acting skills in works of other genres, such as tvN’s “Prison Playbook”, Netflix’s “D.P.”, Disney+’s “Connect”, etc., Jung Hae-in is expected to captivate the audience with his unique charm in “Some and Shopping”.
Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in appeared in JTBC’s program “Actors on Journey”, which ended earlier in August.
