After BTOB’s Sung-jae and DIA’s Chae-yeon, ex-Momoland’s Yeonwoo has also been cast in new drama ‘Golden Spoon’.

On January 19, Yeonwoo‘s agency 9ato Entertainment announced, “Yeonwoo is confirmed to appear in MBC’s new drama ‘Golden Spoon’, which is scheduled to air in 2022.” Yeon-woo will play Oh Yeo-jin, who has a pretty visual and a bold personality. She grew up in a wealthy family.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the drama ‘Golden Spoon‘ is an adventure drama that portrays the story of a kid from a poor family background who uses a golden spoon to switch lives with a friend who was born into a rich family. The original webtoon wrapped up in 2018 with a total of 106 episodes since its release in June 2016.

Previously, Yook Sung-jae and Jung Chae-yeon were confirmed to play the leads in ‘Golden Spoon’.  BTOB Yook Sung-jae was cast as Lee Seung-chun, a student who dreams of turning his life around with a golden spoon. The casting of Yook Sung-jae, who played an outstanding role in various dramas such as tvN’s “Goblin” and JTBC’s “Mystic Pop-up Bar“, has already been unanimously recommended on various communities, so a surprising synchronization rate with the original work is expected.
