Chinese audiences are stunned by the massive lineup of handsome actors appearing in the upcoming drama “Wan Hua Sin” starring Ju Jingyi. While viewers are already dazzled by the enormous cast of male leads, many are also praising the actress for her goddess-like visuals.

On May 27, the production officially began filming and revealed an impressive guest cast lineup. In recent years, few Chinese dramas have gathered this many popular male stars in a single project. Each male lead appearing in different story arcs of the drama has previously headlined other productions, yet all agreed to participate as special guest stars for this series.

According to reports, “Wan Hua Sin” is an S+ budget project jointly produced by Tencent Video and Hengxing Yinli. The drama features a unique concept in which the female lead travels across multiple parallel worlds. As a result, Ju Jingyi is the sole female lead while being paired with 12 different male protagonists throughout the story.

The drama is adapted from Tencent Animation’s popular manhua “Wan Zha Chao Huang.” Ju Jingyi plays Su Luxia, a “Gold Medal Executor” from the “Female Supporting Character Counterattack System.” She continuously travels through 12 parallel universes to rewrite the tragic fates of female side characters, expose evil, and reverse unfair endings in order to maintain the balance of each miniature world.

The impressive male cast includes names such as Dylan Kuo, Chen Xinhai, Ao Ruipeng, Li Wenhan, Lai Weiming, Deng Xiaoci, Chen Heyi, Li Chuan, Yang Shize, Lin Ziye, Zhang Luyi, and Gu Zicheng.

Even the titles of the worlds Su Luxia visits have already sparked excitement among viewers, including “The Harem Is So Annoying,” “Famous Lady of Elegance,” “Brilliant Star Journey,” “Phoenix Unmatched,” “The Villainess Code,” “The Busy Treacherous Consort,” “Silent Mountain Village,” “The CEO Wants to Resign,” “The Demon Lord Has Reincarnated,” “The Years I Served as National Teacher,” and “I Was Originally the Brilliant Summer.”

According to Sina, the series will feature multiple genres and settings including historical fantasy, Republican-era stories, palace intrigue, xianxia, and modern romance, aiming to satisfy a wide range of audience tastes. The multi-world setting also gives Ju Jingyi the opportunity to showcase dozens of glamorous costumes and completely different identities throughout the drama.

Because of this ambitious concept, “Wan Hua Sin” immediately attracted massive attention as soon as filming began.

Ju Jingyi is currently one of the most sought-after actresses among producers following the success of “Veil of Shadows.” In 2026, her character Lu Wuyi reportedly became the only female drama character to achieve such explosive popularity on-screen. Even before the drama aired, audience anticipation for both the series and Ju Jingyi had already surpassed nearly 5 billion views online.

In addition, the character Lu Wuyi reportedly surpassed 100 million interactions in just one day, setting a new record as the hottest drama character of the year.

Every costume worn by Ju Jingyi in the drama was meticulously designed to highlight the actress’s painting-like beauty.
