On March 9, a video titled “Are We Good Sons and Daughters? NO! ‘My Little Old Boy‘ Ju Ji Hoon, Ha Ji Won, Nana” was uploaded to Shin Dong Yup’s YouTube channel. In the video, Ju Ji Hoon, Ha Ji Won, and Nana, the lead actors of the ENA drama Climax, appeared as guests and shared stories with the host.
During the conversation, Shin Dong Yup brought up Ju Ji Hoon’s previous appearance on his channel, recalling how much the actor had drunk at the time. “Ji Hoon drank a lot that day. He drank more than I did,” Shin Dong Yup said, jokingly asking if Ju Ji Hoon later thought the same after watching the episode.
Ju Ji Hoon admitted that he had already realized something was wrong that day. “I thought something had gone wrong while I was being kicked out,” he confessed.

The actor went on to describe the moment, explaining that while he often does not remember much after drinking, certain shocking moments remain vivid. “When I drink, I usually don’t remember much, but those shocking moments stay like photos in my memory,” he said. “In my mind, I was just enjoying myself.”
However, things took an unexpected turn during the recording. Ju Ji Hoon recalled stepping out to the restroom in the middle of filming. “No one told me the recording was over, but then someone came and started removing my microphone,” he said. “I remember thinking, ‘Something must have gone wrong.’”
He added that he simply unhooked his microphone, said goodbye, and left the set while still drunk before the recording had finished. Ju Ji Hoon also admitted that he never managed to watch the entire video afterward due to embarrassment.

Hearing the story, Jung Ho Cheol asked whether Ju Ji Hoon had once said he would not appear on alcohol-related channels. Ju Ji Hoon clarified that the comment referred to singer Sung Si Kyung’s channel. He explained that during his appearance there, he drank heavily and even collapsed on the spot.
“I like drinking,” Ju Ji Hoon said candidly, “but I started wondering if I was causing too much trouble for others.”
He also recalled another appearance on singer Jo Jazz’s channel, which happened at the request of actor Ji Chang Wook. According to Ju Ji Hoon, he was already heavily intoxicated before filming even began. “I had been drinking since 8 p.m., but they called me to appear at 1:30 a.m.,” he said.

Despite the humorous tone of the story, Ju Ji Hoon’s remarks have sparked concern among some members of the public. Recently, criticism surrounding alcohol-related content in entertainment has intensified.
Actor Lee Jae Ryong, who previously appeared on alcohol-themed talk shows, was caught for his third drunk-driving offense on March 6, triggering strong public backlash. In this context, critics argue that programs and online content showing celebrities drinking may unintentionally glamorize alcohol consumption and encourage unhealthy perceptions of drinking culture.
