JTBC unveils K-drama lineup for 2024
JTBC's 2024 drama lineup includes "Doctor Slump," "Hide," supernatural "Although I Am Not a Hero," and a story about a woman’s double life in "She Is Different Day and Night."
The K-Drama line-up for 2024 of broadcasting station JTBC has been revealed in a recent video.
Recently, JTBC dropped a video revealing its 2024 K-drama lineup with various notable titled. The full list (as of the moment) is as below:
1. Doctor Slump
Directed by: Oh Hyun-jong, written by: Baek Sun-woo
Cast: Park Hyung-sik, Park Shin-hye, Yoon Park, Kong Seong-ha
“Doctor Slump” is about the growth and love of Yeo Jeong-woo (Park Hyung-sik) and Nam Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye) who had promising prospects, but fell into a slump and quit their jobs as doctors and live in a rooftop room.
2. Hide (Coupang Play series)
Directed by: Kim Dong-hwi, written by: Lee Hee-soo, Choi Ah-yool, Hwang Yoo-jung
Cast: Lee Bo-young, Lee Moo-saeng, Lee Chung-ah, Lee Min-jae
Na Moon-young is married to Cha Sung-jae, but Cha Sung-jae suddenly disappears. Na Moon-young tries to find her husband and uncover the secret behind his disappearance.
Meanwhile, Ha Yeon-joo is neighbors with Na Moon-young. There is also a mysterious man named Do Jin-woo who holds a key to the secret of Cha Sung-jae’s disappearance.
3. Although I Am Not a Hero

“Although I Am Not a Hero” tells the story of a supernatural family who lost their powers due to modern day problems like depression, insomnia, and smartphone addiction. One day, the normal Do Da-he happens to get involved with this family, leading to changes.
4. She Is Different Day and Night

The series tells the story of a woman who is different in the day and at night. In the day, she is a hard-working youth who’s preparing civil service exam and doing part-time work, then mysteriously, she woke up one night as an old lady.
5. The Life of Mrs. Ock
Directed by: Jin Hyuk, written by: Park Ji-sook
Cast: Lim Ji-yeon, Choo Young-woo
“The Life of Mrs. Ock” is set during the Joseon period, and follows Ock Tae-young, who is a legal expert. She is smart, has an excellent work ethic, and is athletic. Even in difficult situations, she doesn’t hesitate to help people.
However, Ock Tae-young has a secret: her name, husband, and her status are all fake.
6. Queen of Divorce
Directed by: Jung Hee-sun, written by: Park Jin-seok
Cast: Lee Ji-ah, Kang Ki-young
“Queen of Divorce” revolves around a “bad spouse” punishment solution provided by Korea’s best divorce solver to put an end to the client’s problematic marriage. It follows Kim Sa-ra, the team leader of a divorce resolution company and former lawyer.
7. No Secret

“No Secret” tells the melodramatic story of Song Ki-baek (Go Kyung-pyo), a 33-year-old announcer working for Ultra FM who develops a disorder that causes him to speak without thinking, and On Woo-ju (Kang Han-na), a variety show’s writer who is willing to do anything for an entertaining program

A romance filled with excitement between Ji-hwan, the eldest brother who clears his dark past, and Eun-ha, the mini-sister who plays with the children.
9. Family by Choice

Based on the popular Chinese drama “Go Ahead” about three people unrelated by blood who spend their teenage years together. They rely on each other while carrying the scars they received from their parents. It is a work that tells the story of familial love, romantic love, and friendship among those who have been reunited after ten years.
