The popularity of actress Joo Hyun-young, who became a star through “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” following “SNL Korea”, has not cooled down.

Joo Hyun-young, who starred as Dong Geu-ra-mi in ENA’s “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” which ended last month, added color to the drama with her excellent acting skills. 

In particular, she became an issue by using her wit to create the drama’s viral “Woo Young-woo greeting method” using some of the lyrics from BIGBANG’s hit song “Last Farewell.”

Joo Hyun-young has become a rising star. She is busy enough to shoot 13 commercials, drawing attention by even working with national MC Kang Ho-dong. 

On Sep 21st, Joo Hyun-young appeared as the 16th guest on Kang Ho-dong’s web entertainment show “Just Come Out” and showed off her sharp talking skill.

On this day, Joo Hyun-young showed off her various personal talents from the beginning of the show opening, and greeted Kang Ho-dong brightly with “Woo Young-woo’s greeting.” 

Joo Hyun-young then perform a situational play, and in the process, she drew attention by mentioning the story of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.”

Kang Ho-dong then asked Joo Hyun-young to choose one between season 2 of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” or season 3 of “SNL.” 

Joo Hyun-young, who was stunned for a bit, naturally changed the subject by talking about her earrings, and Kang Ho-dong burst into laughter at Joo Hyun-young’s brazen attitude.

In the end, Kang Ho-dong said, “What if you’re Joo Gi-ja (not Joo Hyun-young)?” and asked her to choose only one from the perspective of Joo Gi-ja.

Joo Hyun-young, who quickly pretended to be Joo Gi-ja, said, “I don’t think I’ll do ‘Woo Young-woo’ season 2. Because I think I’ll be scolded by Young-mi,” she cried, causing laughter.

In fact, Joo Hyun-young responded positively to the suggestion of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” season 2 in an interview with Newsis last month. 

While production company AStory expressed its willingness to produce “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” as a multi-season show, Joo Hyun-young said, “It’s a good opportunity to turn it into a multi-season. The work itself is good, so it would be great to do season 2. Dong Geu-ra-mi will be fun no matter if she keeps clinging to Min-woo with lingering feelings, or even if she gives up on her feeling for him,” she said.

On the other hand, actress Park Eun-bin, who is the main character of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” offered a slightly different opinion.

In an interview with Daily Sports, Park Eun-bin shared that she has not officially received any proposal for season 2. “Expectations will rise as much as it is loved. I don’t think I can ensure if I can show anything beyond that,” she said with a smile.

At the end of the interview, Park Eun-bin said, “I think it would be nice if everyone could put the image of Young-woo, who ended the show with pride, in a treasure box as if keeping the memory in a photograph. If you guys ask me to open the treasure box again, I will need a much bigger resolution than when I first decided to face Young-woo,” she added.
