Mentioning her debut through “Produce 48”, she said, “During my trainee days, I failed an audition program then participated in another one and finally got the chance to debut”. She added, “After promoting as a member of IZ*ONE for two and a half years, I debuted as a solo artist”.
Jo Yu Ri, who is about to release her second mini album “LOVE ALL”, shared, “My hiatus was long since I needed time to reorganize and prepare the album. I had in-depth discussions with the company regarding the next songs I should release and joined various drama meetings”.
In particular, Jo Yu Ri said, “I challenged many auditions”, adding “I failed them all except for one. I remember auditioning twice a week”.
In fact, the only project that cast Jo Yu Ri is Netflix’s original series “Squid Game 2”. Youtuber Kim Dae Hee applauded her, saying “Is it the ‘Squid Game’ that I know? I heard Season 2 is coming out. You really got cast for it?”. In response, Jo Yu Ri emphasized, “I’m not exaggerating my story. It’s true”.
