Jo Jung-suk & Shin Se-kyung’s Historical Drama ‘Sejak’ To Premiere In January 2024

Actors Jo Jung-suk and Shin Se-kyung will return to the small screen early next year with a historical drama

On October 31st, an official in the drama industry said, “tvN’s ‘Sejak’ will air its first episode in January next year”. Accordingly, “Sejak” is expected to be the follow-up drama to “Maestra: Strings of Truth” starring Lee Young-ae.

“Sejak” tells the love story of King Yi-in (Jo Jung-suk), who faces the crisis of a war for sovereign and political power, and Kang Hee-soo (Shin Se-kyung), a spy who tries to seduce the king for revenge.

Meanwhile, Jo Jung-suk’s new films “Land of Happiness” (director Chu Chang-min) and “Pilot” (director Kim Han-gyeol) will premiere soon. Shin Se-kyung appeared in the recently ended drama “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun”.
