On May 15, Jo Jung Suk appeared on a live broadcast through the YouTube channel Cheonggyesan Daengi Records, where he talked about family life and shared rare details about his children.
During the livestream, Jo Jung Suk explained why he and his wife have chosen not to publicly reveal their daughters’ faces.
He stated, “We’re not showing the children’s faces because we want to protect their privacy. Once they grow older, we’ll let them decide for themselves whether they want to be publicly revealed or not.”
The actor then spoke about one of the questions he receives most often — which parent the children resemble more.
Jo Jung Suk revealed, “A lot of people ask who the kids take after. Our first daughter looks a lot like me, so I hoped the second child would resemble my wife.”
“But the second child actually looks even more like me than the first one does. She’s basically just me,” he joked.
He added, “But their personalities take after my wife instead. So in the end, our house is basically three Jo Jung Suks and one Gummy.” His playful comment quickly made viewers laugh.
Meanwhile, Jo Jung Suk married singer Gummy in 2018. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Yewon, in 2020, and recently celebrated the birth of their second child earlier this January.
