On January 18th, Jiyeon uploaded on her YouTube channel a new video titled “We love sports”.
Having been staying in the US for a month, the couple went to watch an NBA game, which is Hwang Jae-gyun’s bucket list. He said, “This was on my bucket list”, and Jiyeon also expressed excitement, saying “It’s my first time seeing a basketball game”.
Sitting at the courtside, Hwang Jae-gyun said, “Holy cow, I stepped on the basketball court”. After watching the opening performance before the game started, Hwang Jae-gyun showed teary eyes, saying “I’m so touched that I might cry”.
The next day, the two went to watch an NFL football match. The two were very immersed in the atmosphere of the stadium to fully enjoy their happy trip in the US.
Jiyeon and her husband also toured some famous restaurants. They visited a famous American-style steamed seafood restaurant at the recommendation of a friend. Both of them were very surprised to see the unique visual of the steamed seafood served inside plastic bags.
While enjoying the meal, Hwang Jae-gyun asked Jiyeon to wipe the sauce on his mouth for him. Since Jiyeon was wearing gloves, she hesitated for a while and then wiped the sauce with her own lips, creating a scene that looked like they were kissing.
Afterward, the two looked at their friend’s reaction and Jiyeon immediately explained, “I couldn’t use my hands”, drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, Jiyeon and Hwang Jae-gyun got married in December 2022.
