Jiyeon & Hwang Jae-gyun look like newlyweds even though they’ve been married for 2 years “Two-hour video calls”
T-ara member-actress Jiyeon revealed her affection for her husband Hwang Jae-gyun
On March 21st, Jiyeon uploaded a new video on her online channel.
In the video, after finishing the challenge of her close friend IU’s new song “Holssi”, Jiyeon went to a BBQ place for a meal. That day, she ordered pork belly and sirloin, saying, “I’ve been having a meal once a day recently. I thought I’ve gained weight.“
Jiyeon also expressed her longing for her husband Hwang Jae-gyun, “My husband is coming back to Korea next week. We haven’t seen each other for weeks.“
Hwang Jae-gyun, who plays for the KT Wiz baseball team, left for spring camp in Gijang, Busan and Okinawa, Japan before the start of the 2024 professional baseball season. This meant Jiyeon had to spend some time apart from him.
Jiyeon shared, “We make calls so often. Two-hour video calls. I mean, he calls me a lot. I can’t call him often, you know. He’s doing work with many people. I can’t just suddenly call him. But he calls me when he goes to the cafeteria after the training.”
Jiyeon also revealed her phone wallpaper, saying, “My husband is so cute.” The screen contained Hwang Jae-gyun’s “full-face shot”, causing laughter.
Jiyeon married Hwang Jae-gyun on December 10th, 2022. Even in their second year of marriage, the couple continues to share their sweet married life through SNS, attracting a lot of attention.
Continuing her acting career after marriage, Jiyeon is currently meeting audiences through the movie “Wannabe”, which was released on March 14th. “Wannabe” is a thriller about an actress preparing to return to acting after a long hiatus who gets caught up in an unexpected incident and heads straight towards catastrophe.
