On June 6th, a video titled “Happy Jiyeon’s day” was posted on Jiyeon’s YouTube channel.
Jiyeon expressed her excitement as she did her makeup, “It’s only a few days away from my birthday. Today, Jae-gyun’s plans were canceled due to the rain so he got off work early. So, to celebrate my birthday coming soon, I’m going out to eat with my husband.“

I was like, ‘What’s this?’ I instantly started crying.”
After a satisfying meal, Jiyeon received another surprise. She was presented with a cake with a birthday message, happily concluding their meal.
Meanwhile, Jiyeon has been dealing with malicious comments related to her husband Hwang Jae-gyun. On June 5th, during the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League game between KT Wiz and Hanwha Eagles at Suwon KT Wiz Park, a bench-clearing incident occurred after the game. After the game, Jang Sung-woo and Hwang Jae-gyun called out Park Sang-won, leading to the bench-clearing. This resulted in Hanwha fans flooding Jiyeon’s SNS with malicious comments aimed at Hwang Jae-gyun, causing controversy.
