BLACKPINK’s Jisoo personally participated in ticketing for her concert, drawing attention.
On the 1st of the month, the general ticket sales for BLACKPINK’s world tour encore concert in Seoul took place. The concert, scheduled for the 16th and 17th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, received intense interest as it marks the first time a female K-pop artist has entered Gocheok Dome and reunites with domestic fans about a year after their last performance in October 2022.
Amidst this heated ticket war, on the 2nd, BLACKPINK member Jisoo personally engaged in ticketing, grabbing attention.
On that day, Jisoo appeared on the global fan platform Weverse and commented on a post by a fan who mentioned that they were trying to buy concert tickets but were facing difficulties with the verification process. Jisoo said, “I also wanted to try it, so I went online, typed in ‘BLACKPINK concert,’ registered, and verified myself, but it keeps asking me to verify.” She added, “How do you do it with a mobile phone? I’ve already verified five times. Please help.”
She then mentioned that the seats were grayed out, indicating that she couldn’t make a selection, and later revealed that she failed in her ticketing attempt when she finally got to see the seat chart.
Afterward, when one fan commented, “What should I do now? It’s already a snowfield. There are no tickets left,” Jisoo responded, “It’s chilly. But I wanted to get canceled tickets, then do a lottery and give them away after getting the best seats. Wouldn’t that be awesome?” thereby revealing her determination.
She also responded to a fan’s request to remove some nets on the fourth-floor seats with, “I don’t know what that is, but I’ll try to convey the request to remove them.” When another fan commented that Gocheok Dome was small for BLACKPINK, she replied, “It’s a great compliment but shocking. There are no seats.”
Particularly, when one fan said, “I have a seat,” Jisoo responded with humor, “Lucky you. I have a spot on stage. I can see the members’ nostrils.” and brought laughter.
