Actress Ji Ye-eun is officially returning to television after a two-month break due to health concerns. Her agency, CP Entertainment, confirmed that she has now made a full recovery and resumed activities.
On October 20, CP Entertainment released a statement through TV Report: “Ji Ye-eun has regained her health and will participate in today’s (Oct 20) recording of SBS’s Running Man. Please continue to show your love and support.”

According to MyDaily, before her Running Man return, Ji Ye-eun also participated in the first recording of Netflix’s upcoming variety show Yoo Jae-suk Camp from October 17 to 19. The actress has reportedly been spending four consecutive days working alongside Yoo Jae-suk — first for Netflix, then for SBS.
Her packed schedule signals a strong comeback after a period of rest and recovery.
Back in August, Ji Ye-eun announced a temporary hiatus following a doctor’s recommendation to take a few weeks off for treatment and recovery.
Rumors initially speculated that she was suffering from burnout, but Yoo Jae-suk clarified the real reason on the October 12 broadcast of Running Man: “Ye-eun isn’t resting because of burnout. During a health checkup, she was told she needed treatment and is currently undergoing care.”
It was later reported that Ji Ye-eun had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, a condition that slows hormone production in the thyroid and can cause extreme fatigue and lethargy.

CP Entertainment commented at the time, “Because this concerns private medical information, we cannot confirm specific details, but she is receiving proper treatment.”
After receiving care and adequate rest, Ji Ye-eun is now healthy and ready to return to work.
“She took enough time to recover and will resume activities in good condition,” her agency added.
The news of her recovery and return has been met with overwhelming support from fans, who flooded online communities with encouragement: “So happy she’s back and healthy!” and “Ji Ye-eun’s energy always lights up Running Man.”
Ji Ye-eun, a graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, gained popularity through SNL Korea, where she showcased her versatility and comedic timing. She later appeared in Netflix’s Kian’s Bizarre B&B earlier this year, and has been a regular on SBS’s Running Man and Coupang Play’s The Office Workers.
