Jessica Jung made a dazzling appearance in Taipei on December 9, attending a promotional event for a haircare brand. The former Girls’ Generation member, known for her iconic visuals, turned heads in a cut-out gown that highlighted her back and neckline.
During the press conference, Jessica spoke candidly about hair loss—a concern many women face. She admitted she often checks the amount of hair falling out in the shower drain and feels disheartened when it’s too much. She also shared a personal anecdote about how bleaching her hair to a light blonde for the “Wonderland” MV caused damage to her scalp and hair health, making her more conscious of her haircare routine.

“My haircare routine takes about 20 to 30 minutes each time,” Jessica revealed. “But if I’m really exhausted, I just skip washing my hair and go straight to bed,” she added with a laugh, noting that sometimes her hair even looks better the next day. “I think many women can relate!”
When asked about stress-related hair loss, Jessica mentioned her participation in Sisters Who Make Waves 3 brought a fair amount of pressure, but not to the point of affecting her hair. She emphasized the importance of not bottling up emotions and shared that talking to friends and family helps her release stress.

“Keeping stress inside affects your health. Don’t do that,” she advised.
Jessica also gave fans a glimpse into her busy life, revealing that she’s currently preparing for a new tour. Her perfectionist tendencies, she said, have started to impact her sleep—she now considers getting 7 to 8 hours a luxury compared to her past 10 to 12 hours.
Despite the fatigue, she expressed excitement about reconnecting with fans through her concerts and ended the event with a warm holiday greeting:
“Merry Christmas, everyone!”
