Jeon Somi unveils her potential as a singer-songwriter in the latest music release.
On August 7, Jeon Somi will release the digital version of her EP “GAME PLAN.” The title song of the album is “Fast Forward,” a combination of energetic deep house sound and intense performance.
Apart from the title track, Jeon Somi also showcases her various music color, including her self-composed hip-hop song “Gold Gold Gold” and the melodically attractive synth-pop “The Way.”
The album features a variety of self-composed songs and further reveals her capability as a singer-songwriter through five different but coherent tracks with outspoken messages and unique sounds.
In addition, the album is also jointly produced by The Black Label producers TEDDY, 24, and R.Tee. The collaboration highlights Jeon Somi’s growing prominent musical presence and star quality.
R.Tee is a producer who produced “Show Me the Money” Season 11 and BLACKPINK’s “KILL THIS LOVE” and “How You Like That.”
Somi’s comeback after two years contains exciting performances, colorful music, and dynamic performances with overwhelming scale.
The new EP “GAME PLAN” revolves around messages of love when it does not go one’s way. The EP will be released at 6 PM (KST) digitally, while physical albums will be released on August 14.
