Jeon So-yeon went to Sandara Park for counseling: “I don’t have any celebrity friends because I’m introverted”
Jeon So-yeon of (G)I-DLE asked Sandara Park, a former member of 2NE1, for advice.
In MBC’s “King of Mask Singer,” which aired on May 8th, the second-round match between “King of Mask Singer, Are You Ready to Get Blown Away? I’m Flower Breeze” and “Your One Vote Was the Only Reason Why I Live in this World, The Star in My Heart” was broadcast.
On the same day, Jeon So-yeon advanced to the second round as “King of Mask Singer, Are You Ready to Get Blown Away? I’m Flower Breeze” and performed her solo stage with “Two Melodies” of Zion.T and Crush.
Against Jeon’s stage, “Your One Vote Was the Only Reason Why I Live in this World, The Star in My Heart” left a deep lingering impression with Cho Jung-hyun’s “Sad Sea.”
As a result of the judges vote, “Your One Vote Was the Only Reason Why I Live in this World, The Star in My Heart” won, and Jeon So-yeon was eliminated in the second round and revealed her identity.
When “King of Mask Singer” called to invite her to the show as a contestant, she calmly accepted. “It’s time for me to appear,” Jeon So-yeon said, “Three of my members already appeared. I was even wondering, ‘When will they invite me?'”.
Kim Sung-joo said, “I heard that Jeon So-yeon wants to come out on “King of Mask Singer” and ask for advice from Sandara Park. Whenever an idol appears on this show, this place will turn into a counseling center,” he said.
Jeon So-yeon said, “I’m very introverted, so I don’t have many celebrity friends. Sandara Park is a famous introvert. I was wondering how I can make a lot of friends,” she confessed.
Sandara Park said, “When we debuted and promoted as 2NE1, we were always in the corner on music shows. Everyone calls me the social butterfly now. I did have to be really courageous about this,” she said.
Sandara Park said, “In the past, I thought about it 100 times while hiding and watching them before asking for their number. It’s hard at first, but these days, it’s easy for me to get their number now. If you calm down and do it, you will become a super social butterfly. Everyone will be waiting for you.”
Furthermore, Kim Sung-joo asked Jeon So-yeon, “What is your dream and goal in the future?” and Jeon So-yeon confessed, “I think what I should do right now is to work hard and show better music quickly.”
