Jennie’s “One of the Girls” used in dating show within 10 hours of release

“One of the Girls”, the latest OST sung by BLACKPINK Jennie, The Weeknd, and Lily-Rose Depp, already proves its influence.

On June 23rd, “One of the Girls”, which is sung by BLACKPINK Jennie, The Weeknd, and Lily-Rose Depp, was officially released on digital platforms. 

The song is part of the OST lineup for the HBO drama “The Idol”, in which Jennie made her acting debut. 

Most notably, within less than 10 hours of its release, “One of the Girls” was already used as background music for a Korean TV program. This is a remarkable feat, considering that Korean shows often use popular music, and must have added in the song last-minute.

In particular, it was broadcasted in the dating show “Heart Signal” Season 4, proving the immense influence of the song, as well as of BLACKPINK Jennie. 

On the other hand, BLACKPINK Jennie recently drew attention for promoting “One of the Girls” on her Instagram. However, “The Idol”, in which Jennie is starring, is facing various controversies over explicit contents.
