“Is she a better f**k than me?” ‘The Idol’ Jennie’s lines that caused a big stir 

Episode 2 of the HBO series “The Idol” is gaining attention for Jennie’s provocative dialogue and drawing scathing reviews.

On June 11th (local time), HBO released the second episode of the HBO drama “The Idol”. It is known that the series’ viewership for that day was about 800,000 audiences, which is a 12% decrease from the initial viewership of 913,000 viewers in episode 1.

Meanwhile, Jennie assumes the role of Dyanne, the backup dancer for popstar Jocelyn (played by Lily-Rose Depp. In the first episode. Jennie showcased extremely sensual choreography with male dancers, which reminds people of sexual acts, causing some disappointment.

Then, in episode 2, Jennie continued to surprise with provocative lines, asking The Weeknd’s character, “Is she a better fuck than me?”.

Seeing this, criticisms of Jennie wasting her image on a poorly made and vulgar project started to arise.

At the same time, overseas critics also left scathing comments. Critic Roger Friedman of Showbiz411 evaluated the drama as being filled with “a big dose of gross, vulgar porn”, adding that there were “embarrassing soft core porn sex scenes with wooden acting”. 

On the other hand,  Jennie recently had to stop her solo performance during a world tour concert held in Melbourne, Australia, due to health issues.

Later on, Jennie apologized on Instagram for not being able to finish the performance, and promised that she is doing her best to recover, at the same time asking for understanding and support from fans.
