On the morning of the 1st, a video titled “It’s an Excuse” was posted on the ‘DdunDdun’ YouTube channel. On this day, the guests were Cha Tae-hyun, Oh Na-ra, Yang Se-chan, Jennie, and Lee Jung-ha from tvN’s ‘Apartment 404‘.
On that day, Jennie said, “I woke up at 7:45 in the morning. I can’t sleep now because of the time difference,” and added, “But I think I’ve adapted to morning shoots a bit because of the ‘Apartment 404’ shoot. I feel like I’ve adapted to early shoots in life.”
To this, Yu Jae-suk teased, “So there are many things you don’t like in various ways? Don’t you even like the makeup we did now?” and Jennie laughed, saying, “That’s why things keep breaking down on me.”
When Cha Tae-hyun asked, “Don’t you have to go early for music broadcasts?” Jennie replied, “When I’m active, I don’t sleep at all.” When Yang Se-chan asked how long she hadn’t slept for, Jennie said, “I think I haven’t slept for about 4 and a half days. When shooting music videos or consecutive shoots, it was like that.”
Yu Jae-suk said, “Even if you sleep, you mostly take naps, right?” and Jennie agreed. Oh Na-ra also expressed surprise, saying, “(You couldn’t sleep like that and) you still give off so much energy on stage?”
Upon hearing this, Jennie confessed, “I did it because I had to, but now, I can’t do it anymore.”
Hearing this, Cha Tae-hyun said, “Sister, we did it too. We did all-night shoots and took naps,” and added, “In the past, we went in a month before shooting a 2-month-long (16-episode) mini-series and shot for ten months. But we only shot 4 episodes in a month. The rest were live broadcasts.” Oh Na-ra also empathized, saying, “That’s how it was in the past.”
