22-year-old popular Japanese actor who was loved for appearing in a dating reality show suddenly passed away

Japanese actor Kajita Touma has passed away at 22.

According to local Japanese media reports on September 27th (local time), actor Kajita Touma passed away on September 16th at the age of 22. On September 27th, the agency announced the news through Kajita Touma’s official SNS.

The agency said, “Kajita Touma passed away suddenly on September 16, 2022. We sincerely apologize to the fans who supported Kajita and to everyone who cared for Kajita. All his relatives and staff are grieving. We express our deepest condolences.”

Kajita Touma’s funeral was reportedly held only with the presence of family members, and no specific cause of death was disclosed.

Appearing in season 3 of the dating reality show “Love Weekend Homestay” in 2018, Kajita Touma became an official couple with the same-aged model Aoki Nanakawa and received great love from viewers.

The couple announced the news of their marriage and pregnancy in November 2020. Then, in April 2021, the news of their childbirth was reported.

In particular, Kajita still updated his Instagram on September 13th. Currently, fans of the actor are in shock as are continuing to send condolences to his family.
