Jang Wonyoung appeared without a hat or mask, drawing praise for her natural appearance, distinctive features, and calm expression. Her airport fashion also became a topic of conversation on social media the same day. While several other members reportedly wore hats and masks, Jang Wonyoung arrived with her hair, makeup, and styling fully prepared. She also wore products from a luxury brand for which she serves as a global ambassador.

The images followed a recent controversy involving Jang Wonyoung’s identity-check procedure at Gimpo International Airport on May 30. At the time, she was wearing a hat and mask while traveling to Shanghai, China. She reportedly lowered her mask when requested and cooperated with an additional identity check. However, edited footage of the process led some online users to raise questions about her attitude and whether she had received special treatment.

The Korea Airports Corporation later stated that no celebrity privileges had been provided and that all procedures were handled according to regulations. The corporation also announced plans to strengthen passenger guidance regarding identity checks, including reminders that travelers may be asked to temporarily remove hats, masks, or sunglasses.
