Jang Won Young, who gets cursed at for breathing because she’s pretty, ended up releasing “this position” against excessive malicious comments
Starship Entertainment, the agency of IVE, Cosmic Girls, Monsta X, CRAVITY, and more, posted a notice with serious content.
On September 22nd, Starship Entertainment posted an official statement saying, “We would like to inform you that we will take strong legal actions against malicious slander, distribution of false information, personal aggression, defamation, and malicious comments about our artists.”
Starship Entertainment currently manages several popular Kpop groups such as IVE, Cosmic Girls (WJSN), Monsta X, CRAVITY…
The agency also added, “A complaint against chronic haters and malicious comments is still underway, and the case is facing a sentence of 6 months in prison, employment restrictions, and will be listed on sex crime sites.”
Finally, it concluded, “We will continue to take all possible legal actions without settlement on the defamation of artists and additional damage cases that occur in the future.”
On the other hand, back in April IVE member Jang Won Young suffered from excessive malicious comments after she was shown eating strawberries with both hands on the TV program “Omniscient Interfering Point”. At the time, she received hate for being “cringey” and was called a “pick me girl” for “pretending to look cute”. As a result, Jang Won Young was spotted crying at a video call with fans afterwards.
Recently, Jang Won Young was also attacked by malicious commenters for switching activities from canoeing to using the cable car with another IVE member on the web entertainment show “IDOL 1N2D”.
