Jang Na-ra’s Husband & Wealth Became Hot Topics Amid The Rising Popularity Of Her Ongoing Drama

As the follow-up to “Durian’s Affair”, the 16-episode drama “My Happy Ending” marks the second collaboration between Jang Nara and Son Ho-jun after KBS2’s drama “Go Back”.

Even before its airing, viewers were keenly interested in various aspects of “My Happy Ending”, such as the plot, original work, character relationship chart, webtoon, ending, number of episodes, Netflix upload time and reruns. However, “My Happy Ending” is an original work with no separate source material.

“My Happy Ending” tells the story of Seo Jae-won (Jang Nara), a woman who chases after success due to her unfortunate childhood and tries to escape from her desires and obsessions. This is a human psychological thriller drama.

Seo Jae-won is the self-made CEO of a home furniture brand and an influential influencer. This character, navigating the psychological turmoil caused by betrayal, demands delicate emotional control.

Seo Jae-won’s husband Heo Soon-young (Son Ho-jun) is a freelance designer and industrial design professor. He is a doting father and devoted husband, from tenderly caring for his daughter to dedicating himself to his beloved wife.

“My Happy Ending” is directed by Jo Soo-won, the director of popular SBS dramas such as “I Can Hear Your Voice” and “Pinocchio”. With Jang Nara’s powerful acting, the drama creates a continuous sense of tension, completing the essence of a human psychological thriller.

As much as the thrill of watching “My Happy Ending”, the public’s interest in Jang Na-ra’s wealth and husband is also growing. Jang Na-ra’s husband is known to be a camera director for the drama “VIP” in which she played the female lead.

Earlier, Jang Na-ra guested on the December 27th broadcast of tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” and introduced the face of her husband, who is six years younger than her, for the first time. In particular, the viewers were even more curious about her husband after knowing her love story. The actress revealed that she approached and tried to find common things between them then confessed to her husband first.

Apart from her husband, discussions about Jang Na-ra’s wealth also arose. In fact, the exact amount of her property has not been disclosed yet. However, during the time she was active in China, the actress reportedly received 460,000 yuan (about 83.86 million won) per drama and 3 million yuan (546.6 million won) in advertising fees for two years.

It is known that Jang Na-ra has consistently been donating since her debut in 2001 and the total amount of her donations until now is estimated to be around 13 billion won. Many people speculate that Jang Na-ra, who has been acting for 20 years, might have earned more than 50 billion won during her heyday even after taxes and agency distributions. Considering her generous donations to unprivileged people, wealth doesn’t seem to be of great importance to her.

Meanwhile, viewers are showing enthusiastic responses to her ongoing drama “My Happy Ending”. Some commented, “She met the best character in her career through this work”, “Jang Na-ra’s acting is so amazing”, “I can’t wait to see her transformation into the queen of revenge”, etc.

“My Happy Ending” airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m. on TV Chosun. It is also available on Netflix, TVING and Wavve.
