K-pop’s original “sexy icon,” IVY, has finally addressed persistent rumors that she had been living with actor Song Seung-hun, revealing that the truth behind the headlines was far from what fans imagined.
IVY appeared on the YouTube channel @HamkkeKium (kium2gether) as part of the series Actually, That’s A Good Thing!, where she openly discussed the long-running speculation that once shook the Korean entertainment industry.
During the episode, screenshots of old news headlines flashed on screen, including claims that IVY and Song Seung-hun had been “living together for years.” Even the production team introduced her as “a key figure behind a rumor that shook K-entertainment.”
IVY acknowledged the rumors with a smile before teasing viewers with a twist, saying, “There’s a huge misunderstanding.”
The Song Seung-hun in question turned out not to be the famous actor—but IVY’s rescue dog.
IVY explained that she had been supporting a rescue organization called KDS Rescue through small donations. One day, a photo of a dog with striking, thick eyebrows immediately caught her attention.
