Singer and musical actress Ivy addressed the recent “living together” rumors involving actor Song Seung-heon on the November 12 broadcast of MBC’s Radio Star.
The episode, titled Talent Ivy League, featured Ivy alongside Ji Hyun-woo, Kim Joon-hyun, and Kim Kyu-won. During the show, Ivy humorously explained the origin of the rumor.

“I adopted a dog from a stray dog organization and named him ‘Song Seung-heon’ because of its unique eyebrows,” she shared. “I posted a picture of him on my personal account, and somehow it turned into news claiming that I was living with the real Song Seung-heon.” She added that meeting the actor by chance at a golf course afterward was “really awkward,” drawing laughter from the audience.
Ivy also spoke candidly about running a one-person agency and the challenges that come with it. “I have to handle everything myself, so payday is the scariest day,” she said with a laugh. She also revealed the pressures of performing on stage, stating, “You always have to be perfect on stage,” reflecting her dedication as a musical actress.

Recalling her early days, Ivy expressed gratitude toward Park Jin-young, who produced her debut. “I wouldn’t have succeeded without him,” she said, while joking about her unique singing style, “I have a ‘half air, half sound’ technique, which might make musicals difficult.” She further explained, “In musicals, breathing and vocal techniques are different, so if I follow a rhythm like Park Jin-young, I can’t deliver the lines properly,” prompting more laughter.
The episode also featured an amusing behind-the-scenes story about her musical Red Book co-star Ji Hyun-woo. Ivy praised his diligence, saying, “Even on days without performances, he comes to the practice room early,” while adding humorously about her own past experiences with “low-sodium personalities,” eliciting more laughs from the audience.
