IVE Jang Won Young, “My complex? I have cheek fat… I often care whether my face gets swollen”

Jang Won Young, a member of the girl group IVE, shared her beauty tips.

On April 25th, Allure magazine uploaded on its official Youtube channel Jang Won Young’s interview video titled “From Jang Won Young’s most recent shopping items to the makeup items she cannot give up on! TMI time”.

Receiving the question, “You’re the prettiest. Does Jang Won Young even have a complex?”, Jang Won Young replied, “First of all, thank you so much”. She added, “Rather than a complex, I care about whether my face gets swollen too much. I pay more attention to that part because I have cheek fat.”

When the staff asked, “Does your face get swollen when you wake up in the morning?”, Jang Won Young responded, “Actually, I don’t often get swollen but I wish I had less cheek fat”, drawing attention.

Regarding her skincare routine, the IVE member said, “There is no complicated routine, but I use serum often”, adding “I apply it frequently whenever I have the chance, not only in the morning and evening. I just apply it often to prevent dryness”.

It is known that “homebody” Jang Won Young enjoys staying home on days without schedules. The female idol said, “Staying at home is the most healing thing for me”, adding “I watch dramas or read books at home. I also watch videos I haven’t seen before”, revealing her daily hobbies. When asked about the clothes she has the most in her closet, Jang Won Young chose “knitted clothes”.

Jang Won Young, who turned 20 this year, smiled and shared, “At 12 o’clock on January 1st, I was in Japan for a shoot. I remember celebrating the new year late with the staff after the shoot ended”. She added, “Actually, I didn’t feel it at that time. But it was very happy”.
