IVE member Jang Won Young adorned the cover of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan.
After the photo shoot, Jang Won Young confidently discussed IVE’s self-love concept in an interview.
Jang Won Young said, “I wholeheartedly love myself as a person. Since I was young, my parents have provided me with a lot of support to feel loved, and now, receiving love from fans, I have been able to love myself. I hope that those who listen to our songs can also learn to love themselves.”
Regarding her own strengths, Jang Won Young mentioned her “confident personality that is not swayed by others’ opinions or words.” She revealed her determined side, saying, “I want to fill up and achieve whatever I desire. I want to perfect everything associated with my name.“
Jang Won Young defined herself at the present time as “immature yet mature, mature yet immature, a contradictory age.” She added a cute remark, “Being 20 still doesn’t feel real. I will do my best to act youthful until the very end of becoming an adult.“
IVE released their first Japanese album, ‘Wave,’ on May 31st and has been carrying out various global activities. After successfully completing their debut fan concert, ‘The Prom Queens,’ in Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, IVE will continue their Asian tour in Taipei, Taiwan on June 24th, Singapore on June 30th, and Bangkok, Thailand on July 8th.
