IVE member Ahn Yu Jin and Lee Young Ji discussed their perspectives regarding marriage.
On May 12th, the Youtuber channel “No Prepare” revealed behind the scenes of episodes featuring BLACKPINK Jisoo, IVE Ahn Yu Jin, LE SSERAFIM Kim Chae Won, Seventeen Joshua & Dokyeom, and Jang Ki Ha.
Lee Young Ji asked Ahn Yu Jin, “Don’t you want to get married? These days, I’m really thinking that I should marry one day”.
In response, Ahn Yu Jin said, “For me, there’s a thing, you know… Shouldn’t we get married in our lives?”. Lee Young Ji agreed and emphasized, “We are living only once”.
Ahn Yu Jin added, “People say the birth rate is low”, drawing laughter. Hearing that, Lee Young Ji reacted, “I didn’t expect that I was going to talk about the birth rate with you”.
Revealing her positive view on marriage, Lee Young Ji shared, “We’re living only once so I want to have a small baby”, adding “If I have a baby, I think I’d struggle with my child. Because it was so hard for my mom to raise me. But I’ll get to raise one the same as me. It could be a disaster for me.”
Ahn Yu Jin refuted, “But that child wouldn’t be the same as you”. Lee Young Ji honestly confessed, “Whoever the guy I meet, my genetics might be stronger than his”.
