“IU’s swearing acting is so scary,” real-time review of Cannes’ award-winning movie “Broker”

The 75th Cannes International Film Festival’s award-winning film “Broker” has finally been unveiled.

Actors Song Kang-ho, Kang Dong-won, Bae Doo-na, IU, and Lee Joo-young’s “Broker” now can be watched in theaters nationwide on Jun 8th.

According to Korean Film Council’s Korea Box-office Information System, “Broker” was such a highly anticipated work that it surpassed the movie “The Roundup,” which had firmly maintained the top spot in the box office, and ranked first in terms of reservation rate.

The movie depicts an unexpected and special journey of those who became involved with each other surrounding the “Baby Box.”

Directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, the “Japanese master director,” the movie contains a deep message about abortion, child abandonment, and a new type of family.
