IU’s side, “We politely refused screenwriter Park Ji-eun’s offer to appear in her new work”

Singer and actress IU will not appear in Park Ji-eun’s new work.

EDAM Entertainment, IU’s agency, told Newsen on April 6: “It was true that the actress was offered to appear in a new work by writer Park Ji-eun, but she politely declined.”

Today, Ilyo Shimbun reported that writer Park Ji-eun, who wrote SBS’s ‘My Love from the Star’ and tvN’s ‘Crash Landing on You’, is preparing new work about the story of a corporation, and the actress is the most capable actress. Producer Lee Eung-bok, who directed ‘Goblin’ and ‘Jirisan’, is known to be in charge of directing.

Meanwhile, the female idol has solidified her position as an actress as well as a singer. She is active in various productions, from tvN’s drama “Dream High” to tvN’s “My Mister” and “Hotel del Luna”.
