Singer-actress IU was seen giving a kiss on the cheek of Thai actress Davika Hoorne.
On May 16th, the 2014 Cruise Show held by Italian luxury brand Gucci was held at the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Celebrities from around the world, including Gucci ambassadors IU and Hanni, attended the event.
What drew the most attention was the moment IU kissed a person she met for the first time at the afterparty after the fashion show.
That day, Thai actress Davika Hoorne posted a video on her Instagram with the caption “Twins 16 May. Love you, IU. Hope you like my birthday gift. Wishing you all the best”.
The released video shows Davika Hoorne at the party together with IU. She pouted her lips toward IU and said “Happy Birthday”. In response, IU shyly smiled and kissed Davika Hoorne on her cheek.
Davika Hoorne and IU met for the first time at the fashion show. Since their birthdays were both on May 16th, the day of the event, they congratulated each other with a kiss.
Davika Hoorne was born in 1992 in Bangkok Thailand. She has a Belgian father and a Thai mother. The actress debuted in 2010 and was selected in the TOP 100 most influential stars in Asia by Forbes Magazine in 2020.
