Singer-actress IU showcased her close friendship with actors Yoo Su-bin and Lee Yeon on the April 24 broadcast of I Live Alone.
On the show, Yoo Su-bin appeared as a guest, with IU and Lee Yeon joining him. When asked how he became close with IU, Yoo Su-bin shared that they formed a genuine friendship through the MBC drama Perfect Crown. The trio revealed they meet regularly, sometimes every one to two weeks, and have even gone on overnight trips to Jeju Island together.

The three were seen strolling along the Han River, chatting and enjoying their time. Yoo Su-bin also took photos of IU and Lee Yeon, prompting IU to praise him, saying her legs looked especially long in the pictures, showing her satisfaction with his photography skills.

They also spent time exercising at outdoor fitness equipment along the riverside. IU attempted to use the machines but struggled to exert much strength, leading Yoo Su-bin to joke, “You need muscles to live longer. You were sweating a lot,” which brought laughter to the scene.

In a more emotional moment, IU expressed her gratitude to the two friends, saying, “My parents were so thankful that you came to my grandfather’s funeral. Among all my friends, you were the only ones who came.” She added, “I was really touched that you came right away. You even brought chocolates, which were exactly what the mourners needed. It meant a lot.”
The heartfelt confession highlighted the deep bond between IU, Yoo Su-bin, and Lee Yeon, giving viewers a glimpse into their genuine and supportive friendship beyond the spotlight.
