Korean netizens are speculating whether Jang Wonyoung (IVE) was disrespecting IU in her broadcast VCR.

The online debate this time revolves around the alleged disrespect from Jang Wonyoung (IVE) to her senior in the industry, IU.
In the circulated gif, when the broadcast VCR of IU’s speech ended, all artists were seen clapping their hands except for Jang Wonyoung who was sitting still and emotionless. Some speculated that was due to the negative responses to her cover of IU’s song.
Amidst the controversy, a group of audience members spoke up in defense of Jang Wonyoung, stating that there were editing involved that distorted the truth. When the VCR was shown, Wonyoung was said to be applauding IU.
