On March 10, both IU and Byeon Woo Seok posted the official poster of the MBC drama on their personal social media accounts, drawing attention with a playful “regram battle” that quickly amused fans. The exchange began when IU uploaded the poster featuring both of their SNS accounts. Shortly after, Byeon Woo Seok reposted the image on his own account. IU then regrammed it again, adding the caption “April 10, MBC.”

The friendly exchange continued as Byeon Woo Seok reposted the image once more with the caption “9:40 PM.” IU followed up by regramming it again, writing “It’s fun.” Their playful back-and-forth continued when Byeon Woo Seok posted the image again with the caption “For real.” Eventually, IU jokingly admitted defeat by writing “I lost.”

In response, Byeon Woo Seok reacted with a smiling emoji, seemingly celebrating his victory in the lighthearted SNS exchange. Fans quickly responded to the interaction, noting the natural chemistry between the two stars even before the drama’s premiere.

“Perfect Crown” is set in a fictional 21st-century constitutional monarchy version of Korea. The story follows a wealthy chaebol woman who appears to have everything but is frustrated by her status as a commoner, and a prince who is the king’s son but feels sorrowful because he cannot truly possess anything.

The romantic drama starring IU and Byeon Woo Seok is scheduled to premiere on April 10 at 9:40 PM (KST) on MBC.
