Back then, Byeon Woo-seok made a brief but impactful appearance as the boyfriend of Go Ha-jin (played by IU), a character who infamously cheated on her with her friend sparking frustration among viewers.
Now, nearly 10 years later, the two reunite in Perfect Crown, portraying a married couple. Their updated version of the same pose radiates a much warmer and more affectionate vibe, highlighting how far their on-screen relationship has come.
During a recent promotional video, Byeon Woo-seok jokingly referenced his past role, saying, “My cheating days must have been the past life of Prince I-an.” In response, IU playfully quipped, “If I had known, I would’ve grabbed him by the collar in this life,” drawing laughter.
She added, “He felt like a completely different person, so I didn’t recognize it. Please watch to see if he redeems himself.”
Meanwhile, a special pre-release clip from MBC’s Perfect Crown unveiled a noticeably closer dynamic between Seong Hui-ju (IU) and Prince I-an (Byeon Woo-seok), further heightening anticipation among viewers.
