IU, a g.o.d fan from the age of 9, confessed her feelings in front of her idols

IU showed her unwavering fangirl heart for g.o.d.

On Dec 8th, singer and actress IU‘s web talkshow “Palette” posted a video titled “A Clear Sky Forever in My Heart (with g.o.d).”

IU in the video said, “I’m excited and nervous even before the start. No other modifiers are needed. They are my oppas,” she said, introducing the group g.o.d who appeared as guests on her show.

“It’s an honor. I realized that I have really succeeded when you came to my concert as guests, and I think it’s the first time I’ve had a chance to talk to everyone this close. I was very nervous and pretty quiet during the rehearsal. I was holding my feelings in to express them during the official filming,” she added.

In addition, IU said, “I was living a normal day as usual, and Kim Tae Woo suddenly contacted me. g.o.d suggested me appear at their concert, which was a first after 4 years. I dropped my phone on the spot. I even wondered if it was possible, but as I said, ‘Do it no matter what,’ it became an achievement of mine,” she recalled.

IU said in excitement, “I’ve had several chances to be a successful fan. I couldn’t believe it when I got to feature in the song “Sing Me A Song” from your 8th full album in 2014. It was amazing to harmonize together with you, participate in the remake of ‘Road’ in your 20th-anniversary album in 2019, and be invited as a guest of your 10th-anniversary concert in 2018. Those are something to be thankful for for the rest of my life,” she confessed.
