ITZY’s Ryujin Spotted Vaping? Mixed Reactions from Netizens
A recent image of ITZY’s Ryujin has sparked speculations about the female idol using vape (e-cigarettes), drawing attention.
On May 5, ITZY’s Ryujin published on the fan communication platform Bubble several photos of herself, taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Ryujin’s bright demeanor aside, netizens pay keen attention to an object held by the female idol in the photo, which looked like a vape cartridge. It was even discovered that the “Purple Snow” inhaler from the vape brand Relx looks extremely similar to this object, leading to speculations that Ryujin was vaping.
As vaping is often associated with smoking, it can bring negative effects to the throat, making it an ill-advised activity with people who have to sing often like idols.
This results in mixed reactions towards Ryujin’s alleged vaping, with a lot of people criticizing Ryujin for not being mindful of her job. However, fans mostly defend Ryujin, stating that as an adult, Ryujin can do whatever she wants since there’s no law against vaping.
In face, some even find Ryujin hot for doing such an action.
At the same time, Ryujin is far from being the first idol that was seen vaping. Recently, WayV’s Xiaojun and Yangyang were spotted with a vaping device as well.
