ITZY will release their new album “BORN TO BE” and the title track “UNTOUCHABLE” on January 8th. JYP Entertainment has been building up the comeback atmosphere by sequentially releasing various teasing contents on the official channel. On December 25th, they released Chaeryeong’s solo song “Mine” music video. In the music video, Chaeryeong exudes special unexpected charms.
“Mine”, the 8th track on the new album, combines a groovy shuffle rhythm, dreamy guitar sounds and Chaeryeong’s unique vocal color. Chaeryeong participated directly in writing the lyrics and composing. Notably, prominent K-pop composers who have previously collaborated with ITZY, such as Lee Woo-min “collapsedone” and SELAH, contributed to the song.
The new album holds special significance as it includes solo songs for each member for the first time since their debut. The album features a total of 10 songs, including the title track “UNTOUCHABLE”, “BORN TO BE”, “Mr. Vampire”, “Dynamite”, “Crown On My Head (Yeji)”, “Blossom (Lia)”, “Run Away (Ryujin)”, “Mine (Chaeryeong)”, “Yet, but (Yuna)” and “Escalator”.
