In the August 3rd broadcast of JTBC’s popular cooking talk show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, Girls’ Generation’s Im YoonA surprised viewers by opening up her personal refrigerator and revealing some unexpected eating habits.
Despite her well-known slim figure and profile-listed weight of 48kg, YoonA confessed that she doesn’t follow an extreme diet. Instead, she shared that she was part of the baking club during her school days and still enjoys baking as a hobby. The chefs on the show were stunned to find a large quantity of butter in her fridge, leading to playful remarks like, “No wonder she doesn’t gain weight—she bakes, not eats!”

YoonA also expressed her excitement about appearing on the program, saying, “It’s so surreal to be here with chefs I’ve admired for so long.”
Chef Son Jong-won, who shared the episode with her, couldn’t hide his admiration, recalling, “Girls’ Generation debuted when I enlisted in 2007, and I’ve been a fan ever since.” Another chef, Kwon Sung-joon, went even further, declaring himself a hardcore fan from Seoul’s Nowon-gu and a member of the official fan café, “Hwa Soo Eun Hwa.”
In previous interviews, YoonA revealed that she has a naturally sensitive temperament, which may contribute to her ability to maintain her figure regardless of diet. She supplements her lifestyle with yoga and strength training for body alignment and flexibility.

As for her glowing skin, the starlet shared a simple but consistent routine: “I double cleanse and do a facial mask every day.”
YoonA’s candid personality, sincere appreciation for the show, and her subtle lifestyle habits all resonated with fans, reinforcing why she remains a beloved icon in Korean entertainment.
