Im Soo-hyang Mentions Kiss Scene With Cha Eun-woo in ‘Gangnam Beauty’, “We Filmed It In Two Days”

Actress Im Soo-hyang revealed the behind-the-scenes story of her kiss scene with Cha Eun-woo

Im Soo-hyang, Han Hye-jin and Park Ha-sun appeared on the October 18th broadcast of KBS 2 TV’s “Problem Child in House”.

The MCs were surprised to know that it took Im Soo-hyang 6 hours to complete her kiss scene with Cha Eun-woo during the filming of “Gangnam Beauty”.

Im Soo-hyang shared, “We filmed that scene in two days, and the time we spent on the kiss was more than six hours. It was a very important scene, and the director tended to direct long scenes”. Park Ha-sun commented, “That was great. What’s the name of the director?”.

Regarding the reason the scene was filmed in two days, Im Soo-hyang said, “We filmed it 360 degrees. We tried several angles and did many rehearsals on the set”, adding “I even had blisters on my lips. If you watch the scene closely, you can see my swollen lips”.

In addition, Im Soo-hyang said she cared more about her appearance after knowing that her co-star was “face genius” Cha Eun-woo. Emphasizing that their age difference is 7 years, the actress said, “He’s so handsome and we have a large age gap, but we played characters of the same age and in their 20s”. She added, “That’s why I had to take care of my appearance by receiving skin-lifting or laser treatments”.
