A rapper – former member of a male idol group was put on trial on charges of secretly filming sexual acts with a woman he was in a relationship with
According to Munhwa Ilbo on Dec 22nd, former idol group member A is accused of filming explicit scenes of sexual relations with B, his girlfriend from July last year to May this year, capturing B’s body and other explicit content on 18 occasions.
It was confirmed that A convinced B to wear a blindfold and engaged in sexual acts, using a silent camera app to secretly film the encounters. Additionally, A faces charges for filming four instances of another woman, C, whom he met at a bar in Gangnam, Seoul, lying on a bed wearing only underwear.
Seoul Yongsan Police Station forwarded A to the prosecution last September. Subsequently, on Dec 8th, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office indicted A without detention on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (filming and distributing using cameras, etc.), but A’s involvement in disseminating related videos has not been confirmed.
B stated, “A said he wanted to leverage his entertainment career to appear on entertainment programs or become an internet broadcast BJ. He pretended to apologize after I pressed charges. However, he eventually pleaded for leniency, expressing concern for his own future.”
B’s legal representative claimed, “Since the incident, the victim has suffered from symptoms of panic disorder and is receiving psychiatric treatment. To aid the victim in recovering her daily life, strict punishment for A is necessary.”
