Idol From Survival Show BLACKPINK’s Lisa Joined As Mentor Fights Lung Cancer At The Age Of 26
Jiang Zhihao, who competed in the famous Chinese idol survival show “Youth With You 3”, confessed hardships in fighting lung cancer
On June 30th (local time), Jiang Zhihao made a post on his SNS account, revealing his recent status after two months. He said, “I thought a lot about this and eventually decided to tell this story honestly”, expressing his heavy heart.
Revealing that his situation was very bad, Jiang Zhihao said, “My brain metastasis recurred and worsened, resulting in multiple brain tumors. I have headaches so frequently that I just want to end everything. It’s also getting harder to move and I also cannot endure this financially and mentally”.
He confessed, “I’m once again confused about what I should do with the treatment. Looking at this beautiful world and everything around me, I don’t want to give up too easily”. He added, “I don’t want to give up. I want to try again, Please give me strength”.
Along with the post, Jiang Zhihao also shared a picture of him lying on the hospital bed and receiving treatment.
Earlier on March 10th last year, Jiang Zhihao released several photos showing him getting an IV on his arm, and talked about his illness. He shared, “I’ve been fighting a disease. This disease also caused my mother to leave me 6 years ago. I didn’t expect it to come to me this soon, but now, I’m already in the final stage of lung cancer”.
He added, “I don’t smoke, but I still have to fight lung cancer at the age of 26. Fighting cancer is not easy, and I’ve thought countless times about ending my short life in pain physically and mentally”.
Meanwhile, Jiang Zhihao was born in 1996. He appeared on the Chinese idol survival program “Youth With You 3” and gained attention for his visual. Back then, the program also attracted Korean viewers as BLACKPINK member Lisa participated in it as a dance mentor.
